Our mission: build a site for Rekers Betonwerk — a German precast concrete manufacturer — that simultaneously sells complex B2B solutions to developers and closes the labor shortage with its own careers portal.

Phase 01 — product range
Five industries instead of one catalog
Rekers manufactures precast concrete structures for very different industries — from logistics centers to bridges and stadiums. Instead of a flat product catalog, we grouped the offering around the client's task at hand.
Each category — logistics centers, shopping malls, bridge construction, stadiums, tunnel segments — got an intro block with a photo of a real site: a B2B client instantly recognizes their industry instead of abstract "concrete".
A production video replaces endless quality copy — trust comes from the client seeing the process, not reading about it.
The "Hochwertige Fertigteile" block argues for precast elements with four concrete advantages instead of generic reliability claims.

Phase 02 — product catalog
A 5-category catalog in a single side panel
Rekers' products are technically complex — precast elements, garages, retaining walls, ready-mix concrete. We packed them into a side panel that opens from any page without breaking context.
The "Products" panel slides over the current page — the user never loses the spot they clicked from.
Switching between the 5 categories inside the panel loads the description, photo, and list of solutions without a page transition.
A list of application areas (Sports facilities, Bridge construction, Tübbings...) links to matching case studies — the catalog immediately shows where the product has already been used.

Phase 03 — careers hub
One hub for every open role at the plant
Rekers has open positions across several countries and workshops at once. "Join our team" isn't a list of job titles — it's a full hub with a map and filters.
A map with pins shows exactly where people are needed — faster for a candidate than reading a list of city names.
Filters by location (Germany, Norway, Poland), employment type, department, and schedule narrow the job list down to the relevant ones in two clicks.
Contact cards show real production managers instead of an HR bot — a candidate sees exactly who they're writing to before they even apply.

Phase 04 — job listings page
A drone shot instead of a stock photo on the listings page
The "Stellenangebote" page sells the actual team, not the company in the abstract. Instead of a generic office stock photo, it uses a custom drone shot of construction workers lined up in an arrow on a concrete slab.
One strong visual replaces an entire "why work with us" block — the photo says what usually takes three paragraphs of copy.
Job cards show the salary range and schedule right in the list — a candidate filters offers without opening each one.
The same card structure (duty checklist, salary, hours, CTA) scales to any number of openings without a redesign.

Phase 05 — job detail page
A job listing that sells the role, not just describes it
The detail page for a single position is built like a mini-landing page: a quote from a production manager, a "Rekers as an employer" section, a structured requirements table.
A quote from a real employee (Thomas Bauer, Production manager) works as social proof, the same way a client testimonial works on a commercial landing page.
A two-column "Your duties" / "Your profile" table gives a candidate the answer in 10 seconds without scrolling through solid text.
The "Rekers as an employer" section with Job Security, Career Growth, and Innovative Approach icons shows growth prospects — a critical argument in a labor-short market.

Phase 06 — application form
Apply without leaving the job listing
The "Direkt-Bewerbung" form opens as a side drawer over the listing — a candidate submits documents without losing sight of the exact offer they're applying to.
The drawer covers half the screen and keeps the job listing visible — the candidate always sees which position they're applying for while filling out the long form.
A PDF attachment field and a data-processing consent checkbox cover GDPR requirements without moving the application to a separate page.
A simple text-code captcha instead of Google reCAPTCHA — less friction for the candidate experience on a phone at a construction site.

Result
An industrial site that sells concrete and fills vacancies at once
Products, solutions catalog, careers hub, job search, listing page, and application form all run on one component system — so Rekers' HR team can publish a new opening without asking a designer.
